Computers

WiFi is available both inside and outside of the building and is available 24/7. There are four public access computers available to use. All of the computers come with Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.

Printing 

Printing, scanning, faxing and copies can be made to the library printer. All of the library computers can print to the library printer. The library has USB flash drives available for scanning. Faxing is available. Printing is available for $0.10 cents per page in black and white and $0.25 cents per page in color.

Laptop Lending Program

The Essex Free Library has Lenovo Chromebook laptops for borrowing. Borrower must be 16 years of age or older. Library laptops can be used in-house without age restrictions. 

Laptops can be checked out for three weeks. The laptops come with basic instructions. Please call the library at (802)879-0313 if you have further questions.

Projector Lending Program

The library has an Optoma DV10 MovieTime Home Theatre Projector for lending.  Borrower must be 16 years of age or older. The projector can be checked out for three weeks. The projector has a built in DVD player and speakers.
